Rangers are a direct action force. They go somewhere, seek and destroy people and things. Special Forces (Green Berets) have a Foreign Internal Defense (FID) mission. They go somewhere, train and equip the local people to fight for themselves. They each have a very distinct and very different mission.Response by MAJ Matthew Arnold made Dec 6 at 2019 12:21 AM2019-12-06T00:21:10-05:002019-12-06T00:21:10-05:00CW3 Private RallyPoint Member5313716<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Ranger's are the OL when you are on the goal line and need a TD they will get you in.. SF is the QB that got you there in the FP. if your looking for a challange then go Ranger if you are looking for a career go SF..Response by CW3 Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 6 at 2019 10:07 AM2019-12-06T10:07:15-05:002019-12-06T10:07:15-05:00MSG Danny Mathers5318062<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I'll make this simple, they're both gone a lot and each does its' thing.Response by MSG Danny Mathers made Dec 7 at 2019 2:36 PM2019-12-07T14:36:56-05:002019-12-07T14:36:56-05:002019-12-05T22:30:33-05:00
