How does the Warrant Officer board work?

I understand that the board reviews all the packets for the applicants, will I be there as well to review it with them? How different is it from a CO and BN board? Or is it more of a job interview?

Your file with applicable records goes before the board for review. You will not be there, so it is imperative that you follow the guidelines put forth on the Warrant Officer recruiting website to ensure your paperwork best represents you.

The use of the words “warrant officer” and “work” in the same sentence is an oxymoron of the highest order.

In the Corps, back in the middle ages, just getting your package to the Board was the challenge in and of itself. In my case, yes, there was an in person 'interview'...a meeting with the Chief of Staff, before his recommendation to the CO. But don't let anyone discourage you. Army or Marines...the Warrant Officer rank is great.
