For example, the Food Safety Warrant requires at least 5 years as a 68S. It would literally depend on which field you&#39;re trying for. Check around your Reserve Center Retention office. There will probably be some pamphlet literature about Warrants with email/phone contacts. If you want to become a technical warrant, you&#39;re going to have to wait until you have some experience under your belt and apply via your MOS. Given only 1 time per year for NCOERs in the guard, that means at least two or three years as an NCO. If you don&#39;t want to wait that long, go flight warrant. Either way warrant officer school will be tough, as it should be, because they are looking to weed out the non hackers.
