How hard is it to become a warrant officer in the reserves and as lower enlisted?

It depends on the Warrant field you're trying to get in for. For example, the Food Safety Warrant requires at least 5 years as a 68S. It would literally depend on which field you're trying for. Check around your Reserve Center Retention office. There will probably be some pamphlet literature about Warrants with email/phone contacts.

Flight Warrant would be your fastest way to go maybe not the easiest but definitely the fastest considering they don’t have much time in service requirements

It depends on the specific MOS, but, in general, I believe that pilots are the only MOS that does not have a rank requirement. Consult the requirements on the Warrant Officer recruiting webpage.

Flight Warrant is probably your best option if you're wanting to become one rather quickly. If you want to become a technical warrant, you're going to have to wait until you have some experience under your belt and apply via your MOS. Hope that helps you out PV2 Private RallyPoint Member

In the guard I know with rare exception to be considered a soldier needed at least two or three NCOERs. Given only 1 time per year for NCOERs in the guard, that means at least two or three years as an NCO. If you don't want to wait that long, go flight warrant. Either way warrant officer school will be tough, as it should be, because they are looking to weed out the non hackers.
