Check the in and out calls. What MOS in the 13 CMF are you looking at? Might as well try and see, the worst is that it gets denied and you stay a 14E. Most of these jobs have rank restrictions and requirements you don't qualify for. There are worse jobs than yours, so I would caution you against the "anything but this job" mindset

Who did you ask about Reclass? Do you know who handles Reclass? I ask this because it's a good Army lesson. Always go to the source. If you had gone to the source you would get only one answer

In this case, Reclass is always handled by your career counselor. You should always check the source because things like Reclass policies change constantly based on Army needs. Three months ago the answer was you couldn't Reclass. Right now, you are allowed to request to reclass into a different MOS if you are an initial term soldier up for reenlistment. HRC will decide based on your MOS and the one you ask for, if they will approve it. A good rule of thumb is that the higher the bonus, the more in demand the MOS. I believe the most recent one that was put out said that you can reclass from a balanced or over strength mos only. But if you’re balanced you can only reclass to another balanced or under strength mos. Start talking to retention and HRC and be straight with them and they should point you in the right direction Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 6 at 2018 12:25 AM 2018-12-06T00:25:04-05:00 2018-12-06T00:25:04-05:00 2018-12-05T04:10:22-05:00
