As our society changes, so does our military. I think the military changes slower than society as a whole but those changes still find their way in. Some of it is good (the ability to adapt to new technology quickly) and some of it is bad (mentally weaker and don't have the same work ethic when it comes to the physical side). Now that is a GENERALIZED statement. I feel that no matter how the military is perceived that with everyone that is serving makes the wheel go around! In my father's day no one talked about their accomplishments.... What they did was military business.... It seems like that has changed... today folks can't wait to get out front with their stories and books to follow... maybe a movie...

I remember when the green berets started wearing their new covers.... I believe they were the first special group to change their uniforms... now everyone has their own hats, blouses, ribbons, or cover. A bit confusing to me... It seems like too much time is spent dressing like a rooster.

But never fear... The Navy is still that stylish swashbuckling service it has always been. I bet the Coast Guard still has the best duty and the Air force is still running a civilian job fare with a uniform of the day as the only requirement for membership..
