If you don't want to be a mechanic any more, then you might check with Security companies where your Military background would be an advantage.

Or, if you can't find anything you want to do, have you thought about going back to school to learn a new trade, or going back to the Military in a new MOS? They literally pay you to learn. Plus you can get a Pel Grant and that's MORE free money. All the while you're learning something and possibly a new trade if you're going to a Trade or Technical school. I acknowledge what is important in life, try to keep positive of significant goals, and helping veterans with obtaining more funds and PTSD help is a homerun.
