How has your return to the civilian world been?

Since being home from active duty and now no longer serving at all i have been through alot of depressing moments, and so far being home makes me wish i would have stayed in active duty. How have your experience been since being home, because for me i was a mechanic when i served but now in the real world i don' t want to do any mechanic wirk anymore.

Just like when I ETS'ed you are going to have to find something that interests you, that you CAN do as a civilian. If you don't want to be a mechanic any more, then you might check with Security companies where your Military background would be an advantage.

Or, if you can't find anything you want to do, have you thought about going back to school to learn a new trade, or going back to the Military in a new MOS?

Use your Post 9/11 GI Bill and go back to school. They literally pay you to learn. Plus you can get a Pel Grant and that's MORE free money. All the while you're learning something and possibly a new trade if you're going to a Trade or Technical school.
