How I can increase listener-ship on my radio show?

I'm considering starting a podcast. I know a few others here are also interested in such media. Sir, you should consider tagging "podcast" to get more viewers.

SPC Paul Tillson I used to do a show on internet radio called Conversations from the Porch. We would discuss religion, politics, and pretty much any other thing that came to mind. We didn't use music because copyright law, and licensing for music is expensive. At my current job, we buy music for use on our website, and it costs anywhere from $100 to $500 just for some elevator music to run in the background of a recruiting video. That is per song. As for incresing readership, try adding a twitter feed tied in to the show as well as FB, and other social media sites. Set yourself up as a public figure to spread the word about your show. Doesn't cost anything but your time, and it is a good way to reach out. Otherwise you can pay to advertise your radio show on other websites related to your content.

Just a thought. You could do a springboard from Bryan Suits (KFI) who does podcasts as well. One thing I noted is his subject material is timely, but there isn't a subsequent MIL to MIL discussion aspect to it. I would recommend you check out any infringement trip flares. If you haven't listened to "Dark Secret Place", give it a try. Dream Come True = Bryan telling his audience to flip out your way to chew the fat.
