You will spend a mix of classroom time and field time at Fort Sill. You will learn field craft important to Field Artillery. Get familiar with using maps, radios, and other devices that can help you call for fire, targeting, and ranging. 13F's can be assigned to various combat arms units. They are not exclusive to FA. Depending on the unit supported you may spend you time in an FA unit, but for Field events you deploy with an infantry/armor/cav unit.
