Also is their any way to get an earlier class date after I sign my reenlistment paperwork? as my class date is nearly a year away. How is 42A AIT at Fort Dix for a re-class? How long is the waitlist for Europe? 2019-02-09T15:40:48-05:00 SGT(P) Private RallyPoint Member 4354286

I have my P status and will be a SGT before I go. any information on 42A is also welcome. Memos, leave forms and such. You will be separated from the private’s most of the time. The only way they can move your school date up is if there’s availability and if the funding is there. You cannot request an earlier class date, HRC gives you the earliest class seat available.
As for Europe, you'll be given a follow on assignment 90 days prior to your class start date. Update your ASK. There are no "wait lists" for assignments, that's not how assignments work. Once you work in an S1 you will become intimately familiar with the assignment process. Once you become a SFC there are many joint assignments available worldwide you can take. The course is challenging because it requires a high level of attention to detail and researching various regulations is challenging for some. You should receive an official welcome letter 45 to 60 days from your start date. You can also search the ATRRS course catalog for cycles offered. Sometimes the welcome letter info is listed in the course description.
