Your Cadre will let you know about that when you get thereResponse by MSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 29 at 2020 10:56 AM2020-12-29T10:56:29-05:002020-12-29T10:56:29-05:00SGT Private RallyPoint Member6616456<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I’m not a 14T. But, don’t see why you wouldn’t have your phone. You probably just can’t take it to the schoolhouse or have it on you during the duty day. This means you’ll have it all night in the barracks and can take it with you on the weekends.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 29 at 2020 2:41 PM2020-12-29T14:41:26-05:002020-12-29T14:41:26-05:00SGM Bill Frazer6617100<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>PV Tyrell, think you should being more worried about graduating 14T AIT and not failing and be sent to Ft Benning as a grunt.Response by SGM Bill Frazer made Dec 29 at 2020 8:48 PM2020-12-29T20:48:22-05:002020-12-29T20:48:22-05:00MAJ Javier Rivera6617682<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div><a class="dark-link bold-link" role="profile-hover" data-qtip-container="body" data-id="1848833" data-source-page-controller="question_response_contents" href="/profiles/1848833-14t-patriot-launching-station-enhanced-operator-maintainer">PV2 Private RallyPoint Member</a> - seems like you have your priorities wrong. Every command and training class is very different. The only way to know about their rules is to show up like every other soldier and find out.Response by SSG Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 30 at 2020 5:46 PM2020-12-30T17:46:42-05:002020-12-30T17:46:42-05:00CW2 Private RallyPoint Member6619111<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Looking through the comments, I can see the drive to want to have your phone. Worrying about your loved ones can have a negative impact on your morale and studies. <br /><br />In your AIT, you will receive your phone. It stays in your room while you are at the GIF (classroom).Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 30 at 2020 10:34 PM2020-12-30T22:34:43-05:002020-12-30T22:34:43-05:00SFC Steven Johnson6621167<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>as a 13F A.I.T Instructor/Cadre- when you arrive to inprocess day 0 you will get a chance to call your love ones right away, before your Drill SGT collect all phones. The emergency would be shortly explained and addressed with a sense of expedience, resulting in you at least being informed of what's happening. If your phone is only limited to evening use, that avenue would get you in contact with your spouse faster than having the phone in your locker. As has already been said, let your Cadre/Chain of Command know the situation and get an emergency contact number. Pass that contact to your spouse, and let that ease your mind to focus on the training you are receiving. The cadre won't neglect to keep you informed or try to punish you for it, these are people too, each having some sort of empathy for someone having problems. You will seldom be led by sadistic psychopaths.Response by SSG David Fetty made Dec 31 at 2020 9:15 PM2020-12-31T21:15:04-05:002020-12-31T21:15:04-05:002020-12-29T10:02:19-05:00
