It’s just almost like another base. You do PT in the morning. Go to class until 1600 and the rest of the day is yours. You get your weekends. I believe you have to share a room with other MOS-Ts. You get to have your vehicle. Dont go looking for trouble and enjoy your time. Augusta is a really fun town if you keep your priorities right. So great good and a good live music scene.

The MOS-T barracks quite frankly suck. I was last there in 2018 but I imagine they haven’t improved much. They try as much as possible to segregate MOS-T and MOS-I.

As a junior enlisted soldier you’ll pull the odd detail. Staff duty runner or such. Shouldn’t be a frequent thing. Otherwise your off time is your own.

Stay away from the IET soldiers. No one is going to jump on you for returning the greeting of the day or whatever, but otherwise...they can’t do anything but make your money go away.

Link up with some responsible classmates and have fun. Your primary focus is of course your class work. I haven’t been there during Covid so I can’t speak to what changes have been made. I can give you an exhaustive list of places to check out lol. Lot of cool outdoor stuff too. SFC Private RallyPoint Member Sun, 02 Aug 2020 16:53:16 -0400 2020-08-02T16:53:16-04:00 2020-08-01T00:14:16-04:00
