You should know by now Soclal Media sites are watched by SOCOM. If not then I guess I am the first to tell you. SPECIAL FORCES is the same way, though SF actually signs a confidentiality agreement not to tell others externally what they do without express permission of the Pentagon.Response by SPC Erich Guenther made Jan 13 at 2019 1:49 AM2019-01-13T01:49:22-05:002019-01-13T01:49:22-05:00WO1 Private RallyPoint Member4282075<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Why not just go for it? I was always a joker and very open and outgoing, my experience was very good in the unit. Some others folks were great at what they do, but just not the right fit. There is no cookie cutter answer.Response by CSM Michael Chavaree made Jan 13 at 2019 10:31 AM2019-01-13T10:31:38-05:002019-01-13T10:31:38-05:00SGT Christopher Hayden4282910<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Just go for it and see for yourself. Nobody here knows you, so even if they've spent time in Batt, they aren't going to be able to articulate "how things are day to day" because your "day to day" is going to depend a lot on how well you mesh with the unit and everyone in it. Same as any other Infantry unit, to be honest. Some people fit right in and excel in one place, and not so much in another. If you don't fit in, you'll either be pushed out or hate your time there and move on when you can.Response by SGT Christopher Hayden made Jan 13 at 2019 11:16 AM2019-01-13T11:16:06-05:002019-01-13T11:16:06-05:00SPC Private RallyPoint Member4306633<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You will def hit the ground running.Response by SPC Private RallyPoint Member made Jan 22 at 2019 8:15 AM2019-01-22T08:15:51-05:002019-01-22T08:15:51-05:001SG Ed Bernas7209622<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Drink the cool-aide, Live by the Ranger Creed, and you will do just fine.
