I was active duty until 12/31/02 (1 Year, 112 days), had 40 days ADT, and am on a mob where I anticipate 394 days active including terminal leave. That is 2 years, 181 days. Do I need 183 days for 6 months, or is it in 30 day increments? An extra 10% that I can transfer to my kids at the cost of a few extra days before getting cut loose is a no-brainer; however, I don't want to delay getting home if not needed.
