Doing the Spur Ride with them is one of my favorite Army memories. Also being a medic, being a good medic will gain you mad respect. When they start calling you Doc and not by your last name, that's when you've gained their respect. Always take care of your people. Life is to valuable for you not to. When I became a medic, I just knew I was going to a hospital. Ended up infantry. Yeah we stayed in the field but the comradery and experience are second to none. It definitely prepares you for the rest of your career. Go to every school they offer you. When you think you’re ready, go to flight medic school. Best job ever!
