But, to get a definitive answer, walk into your nearest Recruiter office and ask them. Best case scenario is you get the ball rolling again right away. If you wanted to stay in, why didn't you get your family care plan straightened out? If it takes more than 30 days but you had a definite date you could get it filed, did you tell your chain of command that? It would be commander's discretion, but they could extend it, unless you jammed them up right before SRP and deployment.

Contact a recruiter. It will depend on your RE Code and Characterization of Discharge. The common sense thing is, what will be different between now and when you reenlist? You will likely have an RE Code of 3 or 4 on your DD214 and that will require a waiver. How,long does that take? As long as it does and not a minute more. You are not going to be in control of this process and time will vary.

CHAPTER 5-8, AR 635-200 LTC Jason Mackay Thu, 26 Dec 2019 11:15:12 -0500 2019-12-26T11:15:12-05:00 Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made Dec 26 at 2019 1:18 PM https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-long-after-a-family-care-plan-chapter-am-i-able-to-rejoin?n=5382694&urlhash=5382694

The 30 day requirement hasn't changed. The next time you PCS you will be required to have another FCP in place within 30 days of arriving.
