I have 6 credit hours left to complete my degree and will end with around a low GPA ~2.7. My PT scores will be exceptional; I currently hold ~13:00 minutes for my 2-mile run with no specific training, so I can assume I will shave time off in the coming months.

I’m worried about my GPA. If I were to enlist, how long after enlisting would I have to wait to apply to become an officer? Would enlisting and then applying really make that big of a difference on the commitee?

Thank you all in advance for the replies. The experience gained from a few years enlisted will help you become a well-rounded officer. It will also cost you some time, so it's a tradeoff. OCS and TBS will ensure you have the basics to serve as an officer. Serving as enlisted will give you the practical application and general knowledge. It's your call. Just do your best and good luck. CWO3 Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 26 Apr 2018 14:38:38 -0400 2018-04-26T14:38:38-04:00 2018-04-25T19:53:40-04:00
