If everything goes well, How long will I have before a PT test is required? Also does any one have any info on this process. I am requesting a Waiver, waiting on it to be approved by the Unit I am trying to get into. Is it a typo?
Reserves follow the active AFI's with their additions. Once a year, with a few unless's. The gaining unit generally allows you time to process in before they require you to do it.
Very few things cannot be wavered. I have yet to take a PT test at my ANG unit, but have been told that they will give me an official PT test prior to me going to Tech School - who knows how long that will be, though...LOL. My new AFSC is 1X1, so clearances are pretty backed up.
