If everything goes well, How long will I have before a PT test is required? Also does any one have any info on this process. I am requesting a Waiver, waiting on it to be approved by the Unit I am trying to get into. Is it a typo?
Reserves follow the active AFI's with their additions. Once a year, with a few unless's. The gaining unit generally allows you time to process in before they require you to do it.
Very few things cannot be wavered.Response by MSgt Michael Bischoff made Nov 29 at 2018 9:42 AM2018-11-29T09:42:01-05:002018-11-29T09:42:01-05:00SSgt Private RallyPoint Member4168524

A1C Renisha Thompson I just got back in 24 Sept after 18.5 years out. I have yet to take a PT test at my ANG unit, but have been told that they will give me an official PT test prior to me going to Tech School - who knows how long that will be, though...LOL. My new AFSC is 1X1, so clearances are pretty backed up.Response by SSgt Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 29 at 2018 10:31 AM2018-11-29T10:31:52-05:002018-11-29T10:31:52-05:002018-11-28T21:08:10-05:00
