I have applied for benefits, received my statement from the VA, and submitted my DD-214 and statement to the school, who said they certified my enrollment with the VA. At what point should I be concerned that something is amiss? How long did it take for the VA to process your post 9-11 GI Bill after the school has certified? 2022-08-24T21:33:12-04:00 Capt Private RallyPoint Member 7840859 <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>For those that have used their GI Bill: what does the process look like after the school certified? I don&#39;t know. I know back in the day before 9/11 GI Bill, it took forever for me to get payments rolling in. I was always behind. For the pre-9/11, it took about a month for the money to start rolling in after all the paperwork was done. I had 100% scholarships and grants, so the money just showed up in my bank account every month after I did the monthly certification online. When I used my post-9/11 benefits for an electrical apprenticeship, I was nearly done with the entire first year of school by the time I saw any benefits roll in.
