How long did the DD368 take and what was the process for transferring reserves to active duty? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-long-did-the-dd368-take-and-what-was-the-process-for-transferring-reserves-to-active-duty

My husband is in the army reserves. In January 2019 he filed a DD368 to switch to active duty. Sunday (July 21 2019) he received a phone call from a lieutenant colonel asking if he was aware of the active reserves. My husband explained that he still wanted to go active and the lieutenant colonel said he would then give the 368 to the General for his signature. Monday he received a call from his NCO saying the packet is at USARC. My questions are, did the general already sign it if it is going to USARC?
What are the chances of it getting denied at this point?
Should we be contacting someone about this and if so who?
We were told back in June that his packet was at tech (I don’t know if that’s the right word or if it’s initials) his NCO told him they were not going to release his equipment to him because it wasn’t going to be long now.
I understand everyone’s situation is different just asking for any advice or answers if you have been through this similar process or know more about it. Enlisted only need the approval from the first General Officer in their chain of command. I did not have my equipment released to me. I took nothing with me to my new duty station. My Guard unit actually just wiped out my clothing/ocie record clean. But yes everyone is right it just goes to the first general officer. For me that meant my G1 and ESC. It took a total of 8 months so tell him to keep his head down but look forward to it.
It's a life style change.
Be prepared. We were told it was on its way to usarc a few weeks ago but they informed us it’s still awaiting a signature at TEC Private RallyPoint Member Thu, 08 Aug 2019 14:03:45 -0400 2019-08-08T14:03:45-04:00 2019-07-23T08:56:34-04:00
