How long do Direct Commission Orders take to come back from HRC?

I have completed the 70B Direct Commission process and signed my DA71 and contract about a month ago. I am still waiting for the HRC orders. Does anyone have an idea of how long it normally takes to get orders back from HRC?

Mine took about two months after the paperwork in 1998. I was commissioned in the Staff Specialist Branch (Chaplain Corps) ARNG. Good luck on your process. Blessings.

Timeframes can vary depending on current workload of HRC, priority of RFOs, your AOC etc. When I signed my contract for Reserves in 2017, I got orders 3 months later. When I signed a contract for active duty in Feb 2019, I got my orders one month later - good luck

My thoughts are within a three month period providing the packet that they have on you is 100% complete. You could call HRC AMMED and ask the question.

I was commisioned as a 72 D and it took about 3 weeks to get my orders of Commission and another week for my orders to my first unit. So if it goes as what it happened to me, in about another 3 or 4 weeks or so you will get an email from your branch manager with a list of places where they have positions where they need 70B's. They usually will give you 6 options and you must rank then from the one you like the most to the least. You will wait for about another 2-3 weeks and they will send you orders, with which one of the six you will get. I got my 3rd choice when I was a Direct commission.
However, because 70B is a large group of Officer's it may take longer to send orders.
You need to contact your recruiter if you haven't heard by 3 months. But read your letter and see if it says the date of your Officer leadership course.

I am going on exactly 3 months since my commission date. My recruiter just told me today that I've been approved for orders and should receive them in the next day or so. Good luck!

Mine took 3 months. The normal timeline should be about a month.

I was commissioned at 64A for active duty at the end of October 2018 and I'm still waiting for orders. Going on a little over 6 months now. I'm told they should be coming at any time...
