How long do you think it will take for someone to complete the SSD online portions required to make E-7?

I have a friend who has been a SSG for a long time due to breaks in service. He got his TAG to approve an extension to age 62. He is 59 and runs sub 14:30 2 mile runs and maxes the p.t. test. He has excellent NCOERs. He needs to get all the online prerequistites done
. How many days or hours do you think it will take? He can take vacation to cram and get it all done? He is with the CAARNG

SSD3 should only take him a few days I finished it on a Friday-Sunday weekend!

it depends on how much time you are willing to put in to it, I will say that it could probable take a week, at least ?

SSD3 took me 2 days to complete not that long at all.

I would say it depends on his MOS and available openings. I know I was 53 with a few breaks in service, stuck in Afghanistan and after hours of phone calls and emails got enrolled in SSD in 2014 finished while in country submitted a packet in the reserves and made the promotion list, but circumstances worked out that once I got back I took retirement. They wanted to promote me into another MOS I had, and I did not want to be a SFC in that MOS.

"SSD" is the tag for Solid State Drives. I believe there are SSD 2-5 tags, though.

SSD I-IV all took me about a week on average.

I did SSD4 in 2 days thanks to the awesomeness of ALMS, probably could have done it in less time than that

Honest effort? It would take about two weeks. If you use your command sanctioned "study guide" with all the answers, you can knock it out in a day or two.
