How long does it take for Assignment to show up on SRB/ASK?

I recently re-enlisted my retention did not have assignments I was interested in, but my branch manger had an assignment I was interested in and told me to re-enlist needs of the army and said that I was pending the assignment, How long does it usually take to populate?

Usually the ERB is the first place you'll see an assignment....however don't get your hopes up for the one you wanted. Needs of the Army is exactly that, nothing is guaranteed.

It honestly depends. You can check ASK and click on assignment and it may show there. But you also need to wait until the next EDAS cycle for you to populate On the on orders report. EMILPO is also down so some updates aren’t hitting as fast as they usually do.

Enlisted manning cycle can take up to two months to complete. From the time you are actually placed on assignment it can take up to two weeks to show up, assuming you don't have EFMP or MACP to be concerned about.
