They have the ability to see in the system where your information is in the process or they can call into security clearance &#39;help desk&#39; that can advise on where your information is, what step it is in and what needs to happen next. <br />It is not unusual for the process to take months, so patience is required. Most reclasses I&#39;ve done that require a TS take closer to nine months or so. Lots of good info on here already and since I’m no security manager, I won’t muddy the waters with any more about that.<br /><br />CIAC/CISAC seats in FY21 require a TS to attend. Starting FY22, getting a seat will only require a Secret clearance to attend, an interim TS upon graduation to get your reclass orders, and a final TS/SCI within a year of graduation. So sayeth the rumor mill. I have seen a memo stating that was put into effect this year already, but there are no more classes starting this FY (that I’m aware of).
