<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>I got accepted to reclass to 35L back in March. My secret clearance had to be adjudicated in March as well. I turned in all of my paperwork in time but my secret is still being adjudicated. Can anyone help as to why my secret is still being adjudicated and my TS(SCI) investigation is done?Mon, 02 Aug 2021 15:39:37 -0400How long does it take to adjudicate my secret clearance?

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Your security manager should be able to confirm and will be able to help you out. Even if the investigation is ongoing there should be an interim in place by nowSSgt Christophe MurphyMon, 02 Aug 2021 15:45:06 -04002021-08-02T15:45:06-04:00Response by LTC John Shaw made Aug 2 at 2021 3:45 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>You need to go to your Security Manager / S2 representative. They have the ability to see in the system where your information is in the process or they can call into security clearance 'help desk' that can advise on where your information is, what step it is in and what needs to happen next. <br />It is not unusual for the process to take months, so patience is required. <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Four months is an extremely short time to wait for an interim TS. Most reclasses I've done that require a TS take closer to nine months or so. On the bright side, if I remember correctly, 35L will revert back to only requiring a Secret to schedule a class seatSFC Private RallyPoint MemberMon, 02 Aug 2021 18:47:38 -04002021-08-02T18:47:38-04:00Response by CW2 Private RallyPoint Member made Aug 4 at 2021 11:36 PM

<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Clearances can take a while. Lots of good info on here already and since I’m no security manager, I won’t muddy the waters with any more about that.<br /><br />CIAC/CISAC seats in FY21 require a TS to attend. Starting FY22, getting a seat will only require a Secret clearance to attend, an interim TS upon graduation to get your reclass orders, and a final TS/SCI within a year of graduation. So sayeth the rumor mill. I have seen a memo stating that was put into effect this year already, but there are no more classes starting this FY (that I’m aware of).CW2 Private RallyPoint MemberWed, 04 Aug 2021 23:36:14 -04002021-08-04T23:36:14-04:002021-08-02T15:39:37-04:00
