Hello! I currently have a report date to Vilseck Germany mid November. My question is, how long does it take for them to approve family travel?
While doing our efmp appointment they enrolled my daughter for her penut allergies (no hospitalization and no specialist) she sees her pediatrician every 6 months and has an epipen for emergencies (we have never used it thankfully) she is 4.
Mpd told me they sent my request on September 6, or will be 4 full weeks this Thursday. I'm growing really concerned as I don't have a lot of time to schedule travel and movers for my family, we can't even pick up their passports because they are currently not in my orders. I have called every other day and they just tell me they are still waiting.

Any insight would be appreciated

EFMP usually takes about a month for approval. There's nothing you can do to hurry it, either.

That is not going to be enough time. You need to process a deferment. If you relisted for the assignment go to your career counselor, otherwise go to your S1 to process the deferment

SFC (Join to see) SFC, yes I reenlisted for it! I'll contact my retention SFC then, should I give it one more week?

Absolutely not. Sooner is better. You're already within 90 days of report.

Usually it is a timely process and the EFMP managers have to approve your assignment to Vilseck for your family members. By the way, I was stationed in Vilseck from 2003-08.

How did you like it SSG? I've heard so many good things.

In regards to the efmp I'm really concerned it's been a month
