How long does it take to be sent to Ranger school for a new RASP graduate?

About how long does it take to be sent to Ranger school for someone who passed RASP straight out of AIT after basic and went straight to Regiment? Thanks.

It depends on your MOS, how many people are ahead of you, how good you are at your job, and how good you are at passing pt tests. For an 11B, 11C, or 13F you are probably gonna go to Ranger School within the first year. You might even go as quickly as a couple months after making it to your battalion if you show up, are good at your job, and crush PT. A lot of guys fail rap week so if you show up blowing your pt tests out of the water, and are competent at your job there’s no reason you shouldn’t be able to go pretty quickly after arriving.

Until your leadership sends you. I went six months after RIP and that was considered fast. Others wait a year or two.
