It took them several extra months to process the APL but I have been waiting 2 months for orders from HRC. Does anyone have a POC or and idea how long it takes or them to process orders at HRC? If AGR they do by sequence numbers. In my civilian position, I had to do that about 40% of the time. Sometimes RLAS and TAPDB-R do not synch and cause promotion orders to be delayed, requiring the commander to sign off on eligibility. Sometimes additional documents (DA 268 lifting a flag, DA 5500/5501 within 6 months, DA 705 within 12 months are the most common) are required as well.
Check with your UA. Maybe they can give you some guidance as well. I know there is a contact area for all the branches on the HRC website. Less than 24 hours from that call, I had my orders... and was finally promoted 19 months late... But, that is not the norm...

For normal promotions, the orders are done as the lists are produced.... so, immediately you should have them. Call your branch manager, and see what they say. Either your branch manager or you may have to call HRC promotions branch.

Now, of course I am speaking active duty, and I know promotions and pay are very different in the ARNG and Army Reserve. I know there is a stygma about going to IG but there shouldn't be. IG has connections to every branch and has O6's that have working relationships to all of the rank in your state as well as NGB. They are active duty and do not fall under your state CoC. IG is there to help soldiers Wade through situations they cannot easily fix themselves. It is not the place to go tattle like alot of people seem to believe. I have used IG multiple times with 100% success rate. Each time it was to help take care of my career, not to get anyone in trouble. This should not involve your Career Manager, but they can certainly follow up with HRC once the unit submits the 56-R with a suggested UMR printout showing you're sitting in a valid para/line, and the selection list showing that you are in fact a (P).
