Depending on the length of the contract and amount of the bonus, they&#39;ll do a half and half where you get half upfront when the new contract starts and the other half at the mid-point of the contract. <br /><br />example: My anniversary date is 15AUG. I signed my contract in like April or May. My new contract took effect 15 AUG and the first half of my bonus hit my account within a few days of that date. The second half was due to hit on or around my anniversary date this year, but I took a job as a miltech and had to forfeit it. I had to talk to my AGR, retention NCO, RPAC, and my S1, and i was told to wait until 1 Sept and then start another action. SSG Kevin S.
