SPC Dustin H 7824683

Hello,

I am currently awaiting orders to DCC/BOLC and permanent duty station. I spoke to the career manager about DCC/BOLC dates as well as my next duty station around 5 weeks ago. However, I am still currently waiting for the actual orders to be cut and sent to me. Being prior service, I know that the Army can move at a slow pace, but I am needing to hurry and complete an overseas EFMP screening for my dependents since my duty station is OCONUS. You need to get a date if you haven't
2) If you have scrolled, have you at least taken the oath of office and have a DA-71? You should've at least sworn into the reserves until you get your active-duty orders where you swear in with a DA-71 for AC orders either at the recruiter or at DCC ( heck I saw people Swearing into Active duty at bolc, getting a new DA-71)

If 1 hasn't happened. You will be waiting until congress meets for scrolls and when that happens, its pretty much a toss up.
2) Hasn't happened. Talk to the AMEDD recruiter. HRC can't cut orders until you are processed in as a officer.

3) While speaking to the career manager, did they confirm with you the dates for DCC/BOLC? if they did, usually you get orders cut within 2-4 weeks from DCC (regardless of AC/RC , as HRC cuts these orders) . But as SGM Private RallyPoint Member stated IPPS-A transition will cause delays in getting orders. The Career Manager informed me that the transition is being pushed to the right for the time being and the timeline to receive orders will not be affected. However, I was also informed that he “should have the orders started” this week. Hopefully I will not lose my course dates and/or duty assignment since it has been over 6 weeks since we discussed these details.
