How long does it take to recieve an answer for a reservation request for boot camp?

I have just put a reservation request in for boot camp and A school with my recruiter. How long does this process typically take?

PO3. To be honest I don't have a clue. I just have never shared a post with someone that was Coast Guard that I know off. I use to work with one but that's all I know. So just count me as someone of no value to you. But I will say welcome to the uniformed service. May your career be fruitful and Thank You for your service

You should have an answer within a week or two of your application - though your Recruiter would be the one to ask. It may be tomorrow, it may be a couple of months if there are issues... and your ship date may be this month or a year from now. Only the Recruiter you are dealing with will know for sure.
