How long does it usually take to get an RFO?

I go to WOCS in March and wanted to get a heads up.

You can get them far out but you can also get them pretty close to your school date. I found out I made the list in May 2019 got my RFO’s end of June 2019 and had to hurry up to get orders, clear, and PCS in July to report to WOCS in August. Hopefully yours will give you more time to work with but if not it’s all worth it in the end.

It also doesn't matter what yours says because it can, and often will change before you complete WOBC.

I’m going at the same time, and got my RFO, and orders a while ago, you should contact your assignments office asap.

I called branch about 30 days after selection and had my RFO quick.

I was Selected in July and received my RFO in September. Once that is submitted then I received my orders in November. For an April report date.. You should receive a course reservation with the first 30-45 dayside selection.
