How long does the waiver approval process take for RE Code 3?

The only person who can give you an answer is the Recruiter you are working with.

I cannot stress this enough, no amount of personal stories or even other Recruiters can give you an accurate answer without knowing the totality of your circumstances.

Unless you're waiting an inordinate amount of time, or your Recruiter just up and disappears and the center is sucked up in to Hurricane Irma and you never see or hear from them again...stick with him/her, and just check in every week or so.

Loaded question. Depending on your circumstance, could be days, could be months to process honestly. SGT Goodrow's response will be the best you can ever get for this.

Every case would be different, because there are multiple types of waivers that someone with an RE-3 might need. And each of those waivers have a different turnaround.

I actually was informed today that the MEPS OPS NCO called USAREC personally to get me approved because my contracted made the recruiters mission for the year! So I swear in next week. I was told that, that was rare to happen and I should be blessed and ready for my second chance

I'm going thru this prices now. It just varies on what date it got submitted from what I was told by a recruiter.

I just started my re-enlistment process for Active Duty Army and everything else is going flawlessly. All I’m waiting on is my RE-3 to get approved then I’m set. Gotta go to MEPS and get a physical then I got the green light to enlist. I was curious how long this process usually took as well. I had to write a letter to my recruiter and his Chain of Command.
