How long does verification take?

I am waiting to become bonafide (verified) and wanted to know how long the procees usually takes?

What method did you use for verification/when did you do it? You can usually get verified very quickly but the long weekend may have delayed it slightly.

I was vouched for by a meember. I am extremely hesitant about giving out my SSN over the internet.

Hi Marc,
Not all RP members can vouch for others, and that process necessitates that the individual you are asking to vouch for you receives the email and follows the associated instructions, so it will not be immediate. If you choose the service record verification option with your SSN, we never actually see that data - it is sent to TroopId for verification and once your record is verified the data isn't saved. If you choose to submit documentation to [login to see] you will usually be verified within 24 hours, or on Monday if you send it over the weekend.

I have sent 2 requests to verify my account. Both requests had a copy of my state issued Veterans ID card. I have heard nothing in reply that my card wasn't acceptable, and I'm still not verified. I'm very reluctant to send a copy of my DD-214.
