CSM David Hopkins I was married for 10 years with my first wife and my second was 6 years with current wife while I was active duty.

stayed married threw my whole time and still am 34 years my wife is very understanding
and my backbone

So I meant to add more information to this question prior to posting it. Personally I have been married for 24 years while in the Army. I got married after being in for a little over 3 years. Of course the military has definitely challenged us but it has also been an extremely rewarding experience with many great opportunities.

Met my wife in the third year of my career and we are retired from the Military. 33 years and still going.

My wife and I were married before and after my 22 years of service. She was a great Air Force Wife. She put up with a lot from the Air Force and me during those years, but she always enjoyed the adventure. She raised three great kids and ran a household for over 22 years without nearly enough help from me. She put off a lot of things in her life, like getting a bachelors degree, so she could be a full-time wife and Mom. When the kids were all grown, she completed her BSN and worked as a Nurse until she was disabled by spinal cord damage. We've been married for 50 years.

Married 17 of 22 yrs in the military and married 30 yrs this year. She'll say being a Navy wife and raising 3 kids was easy, putting up with me was hard...lol

17 of my 20 years we were married. We have now been married for 50 years.

Almost 10 with first. 30 days with #2. 8 1/2 if one counts the Reserve time.

And we will celebrate 41 years in a month.

My wife and I married in 2008 when we were only 19, and two years later i joined the Navy. We are still going strong!
