As I recall it was about 3 weeks long. The first thing we did when we got there was weight check and PT test, the first day we got there. If you were deficient, you went home. Other that that, it was a blast of a 3 weeks. The cadre were very good at teaching and had a really great attitude (of course that was 18 years ago now). Learned a lot of good MOS related tasks. One of the most difficult for the class was rating bridges for load carrying capacity. In my class I helped because I’m a structural and bridge engineer. I was able to explain the “why” and “how” data determines the strength of a bridge.

You are going to have a good time SGT Lopes, I know I did. March is probably going to be cold. It is two weeks long and you stay in your own room (using your GTC). I’m not sure where you are from, but I am from Texas and running the Two mile was a lot harder there than it is here. So make sure you can pass the run by at least 2 minutes. Other than that it’s good training and not hard.
