How long is the 12B ALC at Devils Lake ND? How's the weather during March?

I am scheduled to attend ALC for 12B at Devils Lake ND, I just want to get some pointers or advice about the school? How long was the school? Hows the weather during march? Thanks

I dont know if it'll be the same as 68w alc but I heardits going to more writing papers and such.

I attended 12B BNCOC Phase 2 at Devils Lake ND circa 1990. As I recall it was about 3 weeks long. The first thing we did when we got there was weight check and PT test, the first day we got there. If you were deficient, you went home. Other that that, it was a blast of a 3 weeks. The cadre were very good at teaching and had a really great attitude (of course that was 18 years ago now). Learned a lot of good MOS related tasks. One of the most difficult for the class was rating bridges for load carrying capacity. In my class I helped because I’m a structural and bridge engineer. I was able to explain the “why” and “how” data determines the strength of a bridge.

I went in June of last year. March is probably going to be cold. It is two weeks long and you stay in your own room (using your GTC). I’m not sure where you are from, but I am from Texas and running the Two mile was a lot harder there than it is here. So make sure you can pass the run by at least 2 minutes. Other than that it’s good training and not hard.

SGT Private RallyPoint Member I was stationed at Grand Forks for 2 winters. march in that neck of the woods depends on the day. one day it can be 50 then be 10 the next day. prepare for cold weather. pray for warm.
