How long is the turn around time for HRC to update my date of rank?

I am prior service, upon reentering the army my date of rank on my erb/ppw is wrong, knocking me out of the primary zone for promotion. I sent my 4187 and supporting documents up to hrc about 2 weeks ago, how long is the turn around for hrc to update my date of rank, and if I make the points for promotion next month and my date of rank has not been updated yet will the army back date and promote me once the DOR has been updated?

You may be waiting a while because HRC doesn't update DOR. That's done through emilpo at your S1.

Let me guess...you sent it to your branch manager who has no access to update your information.
The transaction is through eMilpo which is handled through your S1.
Your branch manager comes into play when it involves an assignment to PCS. While there are some other functions, they mainly are involved with something in the assignment process.
