How long should a waiver or Permanent disqualification appeal take? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-long-should-a-waiver-or-permanent-disqualification-appeal-take

I recently submitted a waiver request to the Air Force Reserve Command in appeal to a Permanent disqualification from general service. I was disqualified due to ADHD and prolonged neurological defects as well as chronic headaches/ insomnia. This was after I passed a full MEPS physical and MEPS had used the same records that the airforce was provided.

The problem is I don't Have these issues, they were misdiagnosed either in the service or as a child and I have already completed a full term of enlistment with the Army while "having" them. Recently, I spent almost 1k to get tests by A neurologist specializing in chronic headaches/migrianes as well as tests by a Psychiatrist who works within a clinic specializing in ADHD to determine whether I have ADHD/Insomnia.

Both medical professionals are more qualified than the originating diagnosticians...both have provided test documentation showing that I not only was misdiagnosed but that the personnel who made these earlier assumptions had no grounds to diagnose.

All tests showed conclusively that i am fit for service and deployment under DODI 6130-03 and AFI 48-123

My concern is that now that I have been disqualified for service my paperwork might go on the back burner and may not get processed for several months.

Does any one have a time frame estimate that I should be expecting? what are my options? if the military diagnosed me with these problems should they be paying for these tests? Can the reserves Deny this appeal, and if they do what are my next options?
