I received approval from security for my interim Top Secret clearance. I e-mailed the interim verification memo to my career counselor last Thursday, but have not heard anything back. How long should this process take?

It can take up to 30 days, but 2-3 weeks is more typical

SPC Melissa Thomas, it depends on a variety of things such as of there are any available school seats, when the next available school seats is, if you qualify, what the strength is of your current MOS, and how long the course is. Are you in currently your reenlistment window?

Yes I am currently in my reenlistment window. My career counselor and I have spoke about me reclassing and I was previously given the green light to reclass to 35T I was told there are class seats and I meet the requirements as an wise as well.

SGT(P) (Join to see) Then at this point, it's just a matter of you getting slotted into the next available seat. Your Career Counselor will send a request to HRC which can take up to a couple of weeks depending on the amount of current requests currently at HRC.
