I've seen documentation on the VA site that says 4-6 days and I've seen a FAQ in San Diego VA's website that offers up to 2 weeks. But Houston's DeBakey Travel Department has stated as much as 2 months, which seems extreme and excessive for something that is supposed to defray costs for veterans who don't make a lot of money.
