How long should it take to receive my pcs orders? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-long-should-it-take-to-receive-my-pcs-orders <div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Hi everyone I’m a private in AIT at Fort Lee, I arrived here in January of 2023 and graduated march 2023. So far I have not received my pcs orders and my assignment keeps changing, although it is consistently saying I’m going to Fort Wainwright my projected date has change three times. Originally I was projected to arrive at Fort Wainwright on may 10th but now after changing twice it is saying June 14th. Is it normal to be held over this long and is there anything I can do to speed the process along so I can get my orders faster? I have a baby due may 5th and am being told that it is very unlikely they will allow me to take leave for the birth without my orders. The Army does what it wants when it wants. I’m all seriousness be patient. Where you provided a POC to where you are headed or speak to whomever you report to while in hold over. They can point you to the right direction. You’ll get orders when it’s time. Your DS should be able to tell you specifically what is holding up your orders. Ask to see the 1SG or the Co Cdr (they all have open-door policies but ask your DS first). Believe me, if you have graduated the course they want you to move on to your next duty station (they DO NOT want to keep you as a hold-over). If they don&#39;t know specifically what the hold is then they will need to check with Personnel Services Branch (PSB) at the Soldier Processing Center. Of all the simple admin issues I saw that held up Soldiers who successfully graduated AIT was Security Clearances; specifically, derogatory info that needed to be cleared/adjudicated or credit history issues that needed to be cleared up.
