How long should it take to receive your bonus from Finance?

Hello!
I wanted to ask this question. I graduated AIT from Ft. Gordon on Oct. 10th, arrived in Camp Humphreys on the 5th and still havent received my bonus yet. I decided on the 30th to go to my Retention NCO and turn in all my paperwork. How long should it normally take for Fiance to process the paperwork and have it deposited into the account?

It's not a retention NCO thing. For your initial enlistment bonus you need to turn in a copy of your MOS orders and 3286-B to your finance to release your bonus.

It took me 2ish weeks to get mine when I got to Fort Bliss after I filed for mine

How long should it take or how long does it take? Because those are two separate questions. Welcome to the Army, hope you kept your originals.

I received mine within a week of inprocessing my first duty station of Ft Stewart in 2010. However that was fairly quick. The normal timeframe I was given was within 30-60 days. If you are in Korea you will probably be towards the longer end of that spectrum. Everything takes a while in Korea. It took almost 60 days for finance to inprocess me. And this is without any issues. Ensure you turned in all the appropriate documentation, enlistment contract, basic training and AIT completion certificates.

You got to turn in your paperwork to receive your bonus. For me, it would have to be at my soldier support center.

I was inprocessing into JBLM and turned in my bonus paper work October 17th and ended up getting my bonus around November 15th but of course that is state side. I'll ask one of my buddies that's a 25Q like you that just came to my unit from Camp Humphrey's and reply to this comment.
