How long will Soldiers use the term "New Army"?

I think I first heard the term "New Army" around 2008. It is a derogatory term used by myself and my peers to differentiate between the days of useful Sergeant's Time Training to the online, check the box, sensitivity training days we now live in. I personally think it is time to stop using the cliche derogatory term and others like it. Yes it is the kinder gentler Army, but do we still need to keep repeating it?

I'm dreading the day when they start calling the current Army the "old Army" when things were tougher.

I am sure it or a version of it will always be around. There will always be changes so there is always an old Army.
