Also, make sure you talk to a counselor about transferring military training into college credits, that gave me probably about half my college credits.Response by SGT Private RallyPoint Member made May 6 at 2018 5:31 AM2018-05-06T05:31:59-04:002018-05-06T05:31:59-04:00MSG Frank Kapaun3604437<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Depends on if you are in a real unit or a REMF/leg unit.Response by MSG Frank Kapaun made May 6 at 2018 10:02 AM2018-05-06T10:02:54-04:002018-05-06T10:02:54-04:00COL Private RallyPoint Member3604702<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>My first three years in the Army I was Home about four months total. I didn’t take any college classes until I re-enlisted for present duty assignment with one semester of college option. I got my Master's 2 years ago with TA and my 9/11 GI Bill. The first 3/4 of my classes I just used TA and that only covered half of every class but I had the money to pay the other half. For my last three classes I had to use my 9/11 GI Bill to cover that other half because I no longer had the resources on my own to pay for that. <br /><br />I'm starting my second Master's using the rest of my 9/11 GI Bill (I can't use TA anymore anyway). I think one semester, though, for my Master's I did take two classes with TA. <br /><br />GoArmyEd should have all the answers you need.Response by SFC Private RallyPoint Member made May 7 at 2018 1:22 PM2018-05-07T13:22:27-04:002018-05-07T13:22:27-04:00SFC David Reid, M.S, PHR, SHRM-CP, DTM4889766<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Good Article!Response by SFC David Reid, M.S, PHR, SHRM-CP, DTM made Aug 7 at 2019 12:16 AM2019-08-07T00:16:11-04:002019-08-07T00:16:11-04:002018-05-06T04:54:36-04:00
