How many college credits I am allowed to have on my SRB? https://www.rallypoint.com/answers/how-many-college-credits-i-am-allowed-to-have-on-my-srb

I just received my official transcript from my current college. On the transcript, it states that between my Army training and my college classes, I have a total of 54 credit hours. Due to the degree I signed up for on GoArmyEd, the transcript also states that I have 27 hours completed towards that specific degree. My S-1 only relayed the 27 hours on to my SRB. Were they correct in doing so, or should I be allotted all 54 credits? Also, is there a regulation regarding these issues that I can share with my unit? Thank you. It sounds like Kaplan (Purdue Global Online) and I know they have programs where they will factor in your military education into credits for whatever program you are in.

Bottom Line Up Front: If your degree plan is using military education as a part of the degree completion, then you will not get all of your credits on your transcripts until you complete the degree (AKA: You need to pay all of your money to the college before they give you all the credits). Transversely, you can always go to the Education Center on post and ask them. SGT Nicholas M. Are you doing an associates? Are you aiming for bachelors? What is your ultimate objective? Senior enlisted? Warrant? Commissioned? What grades? GPAs? I only ask as I have an interest in such career/educ topics on here, I might be able to suggest other possibilities, as welll...also, did you get ahold of DANTES and/or Amer Council on Educ (ACE) for your mil transcript? Are you using the DANTES and/or CLEP credit by exam approach at all? What MOS would you ultimately want, if you stayed Army, regardless of level? Have you considered going intersvc at all? If so, which svcs? Any flight interests, whether pilot/aviator or nav/WSO/NFO? Cyber? STEM topics, incl what you've taken thus far, or might want in future? I've typically found on here that the more you relate, the more can be suggested, purely an observation, I realize as I'd said, that wasn't what you'd been asking, I just had wondered, that was all, as I'd said, I just have an interest in such things, if you might care to chat more, no rush, whenever you'd want, certainly, also, hobbies, interests, reading tastes, sports, incl martial arts, if any, all of those help give us a more thorough idea of your personality and basic aspirations, that's all I'm saying, try to do as detailed a biosketch as you can, whenever you've got some time to send one in, being as you're up to 54 credits, I'm assuming initially associates, that you're nearly done with it, or, about halfway towards a bachelors...would you also want grad level, masters or PhD, ultimately at all? Also, any clinical interests, as well as flight? Just stuff I typically try to ask with threads like yours, as I'd said, hope was of interest, be most interested to hear more, whenever you can, no rush as I'd said, OK? I'll try to send a few more things you might find of interest as well, OK? Also, look up the sevl state maritime colleges, VMI, the Citadel, also, the USMA, USNA, and USAFA prep schools for all of the three main academies, one enlisted guy where I was got USAFA straight out without the USAFA prep school, it was in our installation paper, so I know it actually happens...the state maritime colleges might interest you a good deal, also look up the junior mil colleges, all of those have Wikipedia pages...there are also the USCG scholarship programs, Navy just reopened WO1 for cyber, Army has the direct commission cyber, USCG also has sevl direct commission programs, incl engineering...explain more of your interests, motivations, and aspirations, and I can try to suggest more for you, if you'd want, OK? I suggest you get a transcript direct from your college, as that will reflect your correct number of credits that they authorized for a transfer. The S1 probably only saw that 27 had been transferred and the other 27 were denied. Or you send your transcript to another college, who will accept all 54, and then take an official transcript from that school, to your S1.
