For a direct commission into the AMEDD, the requirement is a bachelor's degree.Response by MAJ Private RallyPoint Member made May 6 at 2018 11:34 AM2018-05-06T11:34:01-04:002018-05-06T11:34:01-04:00CPT Enrique M.3608188

I know this area to well.. 70B is an extremely hard AOC to direct commission into it unless the following:
1) Prior Service
2) Your bachelors leads to something that will work into a different 70 series AOC
3) Somehow find an open slot in a unit. That is willing to fill this with a 70B

and even then you are going to go through an uphill battle as 70B is the feeder AOC mainly for
ROTC
Service Academies
and OCS

They will fill those AOC in active/reserves first with the above before looking at a Direct commissioning as a source. So you got an uphill battle. Not impossible but hard if you want to stick to the process. I would work like others have said with an AMEDD recruiter.

Its all about the recruiter to be honest.

my main question to you , what are your aspirations and why a 70B?Response by CPT Enrique M. made May 7 at 2018 4:29 PM2018-05-07T16:29:04-04:002018-05-07T16:29:04-04:00LTC Ray B.
