How many days from my ETS date can I start turning in TA50?

i'm sure some people who were more recently in can give a better answer than me. I got an out processing checklist and one of the items was to turn in my TA-50 (cleaned of course, they were very particular about that, no fart smelling fart bags). Once I got that checklist (probably about 20-30 days out) I could go down the list and do all the items including turn in your TA-50. I'd do that as soon as possible so you can correct anything they find that isn't up to standard.

SPC Dominque Lee you can get a letter from your Command to turn in early if they authorize it. Go to supply see if they have any examples.

Not sure how it works nowadays, but I've always been to the mindset that as soon as you have your ETS orders, you go get your Clearing packet from S-1 then you just start clearing.

It might be different for you, but for me as soon as I had my orders, I turned in my TA50. But I am not in a regular unit, so for you, it might be when you get your unit clearing papers. Check with your Squad Leader.

When I was in supply it was generally the month before you were ETSing, but that was the Guards.
