How many military posts or installations still have switch yards run by the military? Anyone remember the MOS for Conductor or Engineer? Looking into transfer to a unit, Active Duty, NG or Reserve, that still have the MOS of railroad conductor or engineer I do have FRA certification for both, do I have to go back to school?. Tks

You don't hear about Railroad Men being recruited anymore. One of the greatest Influencers on My Joining was a Railroad Man during Korea converted to Helicopter Pilot for Vietnam.
