Not for Active Military, or for Govt Civilians. We still got important work to do. I know it helps some people, not my cup of tea. Semper Fi.

I am a PA physician. Yes, patients should have medical cannabis as an option.

I'm from PA. Retired VA RN. I have been saying since I became a nurse that medical marijuana should be an option. I worked with dementia patients. Many are former smokers, have all kinds of anxious behaviors, & they tend to have no appetite which causes many to drop weight like crazy. Medical marijuana would help them. Later on I worked in the specialty clinics with people with stomach disorders to rheumatoid arthritis. Every PA & doctor I worked with, young, old, US-born or foreign all recommended to their patients about going on medical marijuana. Medications only work so far & many of the meds have too many side-effects for people to handle. We also had our folks who had some sort of auto-immune disorder with lots of pain & no real diagnosis. They reported that pot was the only thing that worked on easing the pain. The only problem now that it's been made legal in our state is all the other laws needing to be changed so those using it won't get arrested. One must be very careful if your job prohibits it or when you cross jurisdictions such as federal facilities or even national parks. You can still get busted.
