I was ASIST trained in 2010. As a social work major at Syrcuse University, that particular training has given me insight to the divide between approaches which are applied between military and civilian responders to circumstances surrounding suicide.

I am, I took that 16 hour course... Some of it was good info but I wouldn't wish that long drawn out depressing class on anyone.

The Army requires two personnel per company.
I always viewed this area as one that required my personal attention. It is that important.
