Once off of active duty, I went to college and finished my degree in less than 4 years. I was so focused on getting things done that I overloaded myself every semester. Most 18-, 19-year olds won't do that and just wasted money being in school longer than they need to. Because I did it this way, I was able to go after my masters with a little GI Bill money left over and then got a 12-month extension to use post 9/11 GI Bill to finish my masters. So, the fact that I did it after being in the military, I was a lot more successful in school.Response by SGT Chris Stephens made Jul 31 at 2020 9:11 AM2020-07-31T09:11:26-04:002020-07-31T09:11:26-04:00SGM Private RallyPoint Member6160828<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Graduated college first, then enlisted.Response by SGM Private RallyPoint Member made Jul 31 at 2020 9:27 AM2020-07-31T09:27:42-04:002020-07-31T09:27:42-04:00SGT Dave Tracy6160875<div class="images-v2-count-0"></div>Both.<br />Enlisted with (2) bachelors.<br />After AD (while still in the Reserves), I earned my MBA.Response by SGT Dave Tracy made Jul 31 at 2020 9:44 AM2020-07-31T09:44:44-04:002020-07-31T09:44:44-04:00SPC Elijah J.
